Montanans Need Stronger Mercury and Air Toxics Standards

New EPA standards were released April 25 that protect humans from mercury, cadmium, arsenic, lead, and other hazardous elements. Colstrip is the only power plant of its type in the US without controls to limit these emissions - controls that have been available for decades. Pushback from groups that want to keep Colstrip operating as long as possible is likely, especially in Montana.

This is a public health issue and we want all Montanans to know that.
