This summer, we collected hearts with messages for public officials from kids, parents, and caregivers about why climate action is urgently needed.

One 7-year-old wrote, "Act now because I am sick of forest fires." Heartbreaking.

All Montana kids deserve a bright and healthy future, free from excessive heat and wildfire smoke.

But to realize meaningful climate action in our state, we must build a broader base of support, and engage more climate leaders. It's absolutely critical work.

Families for a Livable Climate builds community for climate action, empowering families to advocate for a livable future.


With your support, we will engage more Montana families in the climate movement by

  • sharing skills that they can use to raise awareness and have effective climate conversations with their friends, family and communities,

  • training some of them as 1-1 organizers,

  • connecting them to actions and policy that matter,

  • collecting and sharing their stories,

  • and engaging new climate leaders.
